Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect on hispano-enterprise.com, how we use it and what your rights are. It applies to the whole website: the free tools, the online store, events, the members area and groups.

The controller of your data is Reinel Bonora Penalver, who trades as a self-employed individual in the United Kingdom under the business name Hispano Enterprise.

What data we collect

We only collect the data you give us and the data generated when you use the website.

Digital Diagnosis and other free tools: name, email, business name (optional), sector, answers, scores, chosen priority and, if you agree, your marketing consent and its date.
Online store: name, email, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, products purchased and order history. Your card details are processed directly by the payment provider: we never see or store them.
Events: name, email, events you register for, answers to the registration form and attendance.
Members area and groups: your account details (name, email and password, which Wix manages in encrypted form), your profile and anything you post, comment on or send in groups.
Contact: whatever you write to us by email or through a form.
Browsing: IP address, device, browser, pages visited and cookie data (see “Cookies, analytics and advertising”).

How we use your data

UK data protection law (UK GDPR) requires a lawful basis for each use. These are ours:

Preparing and showing you your report from the diagnosis or another tool, and saving the result. Lawful basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
Replying when you ask us for a review, a service or information. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in responding to your request.
Sending you marketing tips and news by email. Lawful basis: your consent (optional box). You can unsubscribe at any time.
Managing orders, payments, deliveries and returns. Lawful basis: contract.
Managing your event registrations. Lawful basis: contract.
Managing your member account and your participation in groups. Lawful basis: contract.
Keeping accounts and meeting our tax obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
Protecting the website, preventing fraud and making sure everything works properly. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
Measuring visits and advertising results, and showing ads on the website (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google AdSense). Lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.

The diagnosis score is calculated automatically, but it is for guidance only. We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies are small files that the website stores in your browser. We use two types:

Essential cookies. The website needs them to work: the shopping cart, logging in and security. They do not require your consent.
Analytics and advertising cookies. These are only switched on if you accept them in the cookie banner. Google Analytics tells us how many people visit the website and which pages they read. Meta Pixel measures the results of our ads and lets us show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the website. Google Ads measures the results of our ads on Google. Google AdSense shows ads from other companies on our website, which Google may personalise based on your interests.

You can change your preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link on the website.

Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can see how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and turn off personalised ads in Google’s My Ad Center.

Our free tools also load fonts from Google Fonts. To do this, your browser sends your IP address to Google.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with the providers we need to operate, and each one uses it only for the service it provides to us:

Wix.com: website hosting, online store, events, members area, database and contact management.
[PAYMENT PROVIDER: Wix Payments, PayPal, Stripe…]: processing payments for the store and events.
Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram): measurement and advertising, only if you accept cookies.
Google: analytics, ad measurement (Google Ads) and ads on our website (AdSense), only if you accept cookies; and website fonts.
[DELIVERY COMPANY, if you sell physical products]: delivering your orders.

We may also share data with authorities, such as HMRC, when the law requires us to.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers, such as Wix, Meta and Google, may process your data outside the UK, for example in the United States or Israel. When this happens, the transfer is protected by the safeguards required by UK law: adequacy regulations made by the UK Government or approved contractual clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only for as long as needed for the purpose we collected it for:

Diagnosis and other free tools: 24 months from our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete it.
Marketing email list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address on a suppression list, so we do not contact you again.
Orders and billing: 6 years, for tax purposes.
Event registrations: 24 months after the event.
Member account and groups: while your account is active.
Cookies: for the period shown in the cookie banner.

Your rights

You can exercise these rights by emailing hello@hispano-enterprise.com:

Access: ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure: ask us to delete your data.
Restriction: ask us to stop using your data temporarily.
Objection: object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests. If you object to direct marketing, we will always stop sending it.
Portability: receive your data in a format you can take to another service.
Withdrawing consent: at any time, without affecting what we did with it before.

We will reply within one month. In complex cases, this may be extended by a further two months, and we will let you know. It is normally free of charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we reply.

How to make a complaint

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please email us first at hello@hispano-enterprise.com. You do not need to use any special format.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days at the latest. We will then look into it, keep you informed and tell you the outcome as soon as possible.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the UK data protection authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.

Children, security and changes

Children. Our website and tools are intended for people aged 18 or over who run or want to start a business. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Tool results are stored in a private database that only the site administrator can access.

Changes. If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date. If the change is significant, we will let you know by email where we have your address.
